Types of solar water heating systems

There are two main types of solar water heating panels – flat panels and evacuated tubes (referring to how the water interacts with the panel). Either generates equal amounts of hot water. There are also water drainage systems that drain the water inside the solar panel when the pump is turned off. This prevents the water inside the solar panel from freezing or boiling.
